<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively achieve a desirable natural frequency of a recording disk drive device, mounted with a motor, while securing strength of a base part. <P>SOLUTION: On an annular base inner bottom face 51 of a base bracket 22 in a motor, a second base inner bottom face 512, which is another region with respect to a first base inner bottom face 511 overlapped with a wiring substrate stuck onto the base lower face, becomes the bottom face of a recessed part 512a recessed to the base lower face side. By changing design of a width or a depth of the recessed part 512a, it is possible to achieve a desirable natural frequency of the recording disk drive device mounted with the motor. The lower face of the base bracket 22 has a recessed region so as to mount the wiring substrate. However, in the base bracket 22, a thickness of the base bottom part in the first base inner bottom face 511 is maintained.
