<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for fixing a seed crystal, with which the surface of the seed crystal can be uniformly press-bonded to a seed crystal placing part. <P>SOLUTION: The device 1 for fixing a seed crystal is used for fixing a seed crystal 9 to a seed crystal placing part 3 of a reaction vessel through an adhesive 5 and is provided with a chamber 10 in which the seed crystal placing part 3 can be installed and a flexible bag body 16 which is arranged at the upper surface of the chamber 10, can expand and contract by the supply and exhaust of a gas, and applies a pressure uniformly on the whole surface of the seed crystal 9 while being brought into contact with the surface of the seed crystal 9 when it is expanded.
