PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent apparatus obtaining a long service life, by preventing formation of a mixed layer at the interface of a hole-injecting layer and a positive electrode, and to provide a manufacturing method for the organic electroluminescent apparatus. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent apparatus 100 has the hole-injecting layer 4 and the light-emitting layer 5 arranged between a pair of electrodes 3 and 8. A mixing preventing layer 6 is provided between the hole injection layer 4 and the light-emitting layer 5 for preventing mixing of material constituting the hole injection layer 4 and the material composing the light-emitting layer 5.
