PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy a safety frame condition when a data reading error occurs. SOLUTION: The interface control method for transferring data to be transferred to a communication partner in a data transfer device including a memory for storing data and a frame control part for creating and transmitting a frame containing the data to be transferred comprises: a frame transmitting step of creating and transmitting a frame having the data to be transferred read from the memory just before a check code part. In the frame transmitting step, when data cannot be normally read from the memory, a frame having predetermined data just before the check code part instead of the abnormal read data is created and transmitted, and transfer of the data to be transferred is ended.
