<p>A touch panel input device is provided to maintain a large change in electrostatic capacity generated between first electrodes and second electrodes even though areas or pitch gaps of the electrodes get smaller, and prevent lowering of detection accuracy when the surface of a panel is touched by fingers. A panel(10) has the surface and the reverse, wherein the surface is touchable by fingers. First electrodes(20) are arranged on the surface of the panel. Second electrodes(30) are arranged on the reverse of the panel, shifted from the first electrodes on the plane. The second electrodes are larger than the first electrodes to make electrostatic capacity generated between the first electrodes and the fingers, and electrostatic capacity generated between the second electrodes and the fingers at the same level.</p> |
