NEW MODIFIED FASCIA LATA OVERLAP FOR PATELLAR LUXATION

摘要

An application of a new modified fascia lata overlap for treating a patellar luxation is provided to reduce a re-luxation rate of a patellar after an operation by sinking the patellar into a trochlear groove effectively, and to shorten an operation time largely by simplifying an operation method. An application of a new modified fascia lata overlap for treating a patellar luxation includes the steps of: cutting(a) a fascia lata, a fibrocartilage and a femoropatellar ligament all of which are near to the inside and outside of a patellar; sinking(b) the patellar into a trochlear groove of a thigh bone; and stitching(c) a cut face of the inside and outside of the patellar by covering the cut face over the patellar and a patellar tendon.
