An MP3 player and a broadcasting receiver are provided to decode a broadcasting signal, thereby reproducing audio broadcasting as well as general radio programs. An MP3 player comprises a DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) receiver(102) for receiving a DAB signal and decoding the received DAB signal, and an audio output unit(112) for outputting audio data from the decoded DAB signal to reproduce DAB. The DAB receiver includes a tuner(106) for converting a frequency of the received DAB signal into a frequency suitable for the MP3 player, an ADC(Analog-Digital Converter)(108) for converting the DAB signal having the converted frequency into a digital signal, and a decoding unit(110) for decoding the converted DAB signal. The decoded DAB signal includes video data and the audio data.
