<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noodle string diameter-thinning apparatus which can simply and precisely adjust a distance between processing grooves formed in a pair of processing rolls to a proper distance at desired timing. <P>SOLUTION: This noodle string diameter-thinning apparatus 9 which has a pair of upper and lower first and second rolls 27 having processing grooves formed on their outer peripheries, and is used for passing a noodle string through a pair of the processing grooves to form the noodle filament in a prescribed cross-sectional shape has a power transmission mechanism for connecting the upper and lower processing rolls 27 so that the peripheral rates of the upper and lower processing rolls 27 are approximately equal each other, and a groove distance-adjusting mechanism 38 for adjusting the distance between the upper and lower processing grooves, wherein the groove distance-adjusting mechanism 38 comprises a bearing portion 40 for turnably supporting the upper side processing roll 27, guide portions 50, 50 for guiding the bearing portion 40 in a direction for approaching or separating from the lower side processing roll, and a sending mechanism portion 51 for moving the bearing portion 40 along the guide portions 50, 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
