PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage public information by applying a part of a capacity of a user's storage area to a capacity of a storage area of public information to be extended, and efficiently using a storage capacity of an entire site. SOLUTION: An information management device includes: a first use capacity acquisition means which adds a capacity of public information received from an information providing device to acquire a use capacity of a storage area of an information owner; a request reception means which receives a request from an information browsing device; and a second use capacity acquisition means which adds the capacity of public information to a use capacity of a storage area of an information provider to acquire the addition result as the use capacity of the storage area of the information provider, in response to the request.
