PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide foamed particles and a foam-molded article, made of an aliphatic polyester having biodegradable characteristics. SOLUTION: The foamed particles are composed of an aliphatic polyester having≤30μeq/g acid value and≥1.5 reduced viscosity, and have bulk density of≥0.01 and≤0.3. The molded article is prepared by subjecting the particles to secondary foam molding. The particle is produced by foam molding through pressurized charging of an inert volatile foaming agent into a powder or a pellet, followed by discharging the agent under normal pressure.
