<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize an extension device for extending a function of a recorder and to allow appropriate recording. <P>SOLUTION: This information processor communicated with the recorder includes an acquisition means for acquiring the first device ID stored preliminarily in the recorder, when the extension device is not connected to the recorder, and for acquiring the second device ID corresponding to the extension device, when the extension device is connected to the recorder, and a selection means for selecting a printer driver, using the first device ID acquired by the acquisition means, when the extension device is not connected to the recorder, and for selecting the printer driver, using the second device ID acquired by the acquisition means, when the extension device is connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
