PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the runaway of an equipment and the breakage of an internal circuit caused by a rush current by suppressing this rush current generated at the time of connecting a loaded PCMCIA card and an internal battery at an electronic equipment. SOLUTION: This electronic equipment is provided with a voltage detector 121 detecting a generated voltage by the battery and consists of a boosting circuit 220 boosting the generated voltage by the battery and a current adjusting circuit 110 connected between with a PCMCIA card. At the time of driving the PCMCIA card then, a current to output to the card is gradually increased by the current adjusting circuit 110 corresponding to the residual capacity of the battery based on the detected output of the voltage detector 121. |
