<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely carry out (take out) a workpiece by a workpiece conveyance robot, and to improve the safety and reliability of an operation, and to prevent any problem causing the scratch of the workpiece or the failure of a conveyance robot side, and to contribute to the miniaturization or cost reduction of the workpiece conveyance robot. <P>SOLUTION: This IC card manufacturing system is provided with: the workpiece conveyance robot 10 equipped with a robot head 11 for gripping each of a pair of opposite terminal sides Wm in the workpiece W by at least a pair of opposite gripping parts 12p and 12q with slit parts 12ps and 12qs formed therein with which the end side of the workpiece w is engaged and a gap formation means 13 for forming a gap G into which engagement safety lug parts 12pc and 12qc positioned at the lower side of the slit parts 12ps and 12qs can be inserted at the lower part of the undersurface of the workpiece W when the workpiece W is gripped by the gripping parts 12p and 12q. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
