<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform appropriate image compression processing with a reduced load on a user. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor includes: a total image capacity value setting means for setting the total image capacity value of compression images; an image size and image compression ratio reading means for reading the image sizes and image compression ratios of the compression images, based on estimation information of the predetermined image sizes, image compression ratios, and image capacity values; and an image compressing means for performing image compression, based on the image sizes and the image compression ratios which are read by the image size and image compression ratio reading means, and changing the image sizes and/or image compression ratios when the total image capacity value of the compression images exceeds the set total image capacity value, and then, performing the image compression again. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
