PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive endoscope stopper which can break an object to prevent any broken sludge from being diffused and any broken wreck from being left around the opening of a forceps. SOLUTION: The endoscope stopper 1 comprises a cylindrical stopper frame 30 which has one end engaged with a metal base 3a projecting on the external surface of an endoscope 2 from a certain direction, and has a stopping means and a breaking means, wherein the stopping means comprises a flange 4d and a metal base engagement 38b provided to the flange 4d, and the breaking means moves a projection 32 in the same direction as the engagement one to open a pair of V-shaped grooves 33 provided on both the sides of the bottom of the projection 32 so that the stopping frame 30 may be freed from being stopped by the metal base 3a.
