摘要 <p>A rotation sensor-equipped bearing device for a wheel, which is capable of detecting the speed and direction of rotation, with which a high-resolution rotation signal capable of being used for various applications of vehicle control can be obtained, and in which the required size for rotation detection is minimized. The bearing device has double row rolling bodies (5) arranged between rolling surfaces (6, 7) of an inner member (1) and an outer member (2), and rotatably supports a wheel relative to a vehicle body. The bearing axis O of the outer member (1) is provided with magnetic field generation means (21) having the directivity about the bearing axis. A sensor (22) for detecting the magnetic field of the magnetic field generation means (21) is provided on the inner member (2) so as to be axially opposed to the magnetic field of the magnetic field generation means (21). The sensor (22) has a function to detect the rotation angle of the magnetic field generation means (21), and the sensor (22) is, for example, of a type for detecting the rotation of the magnetic field of a magnetic field generation means by detecting the orientation of the magnetic field by a magnetic sensor array and a two-dimensional vector sensor.</p>
