PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel unit capable of drawing out a lens barrel longer without extending a collapse length of the barrel unit. SOLUTION: The lens barrel unit is provided with: a barrier opening spring; a barrier driving ring 120; a barrier blade 121; and a direct advance regulation cylinder 115. The barrier opening spring energizes both of the barrier driving ring 120 and the barrier blade 121 or only the barrier driving ring 120 in either rotation direction. Upon the barrel collapse, the barrier driving ring 120 is rotated by the direct advance regulation cylinder 115 and is located on a prescribed phase. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
