PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a western-style toilet bowl apparatus which enables a user to specify a flushing area of an inner surface of a bowl portion and a flushing mode of each area. SOLUTION: This western-style toilet bowl apparatus comprises a flushing-area setting means 22 for specifying the area-to-be-flushed on the inner surface of the bowl portion 3 and selectively setting the flushing mode for the specified area, and a flushing control means 21 for flushing the area, set by the means 22, according to the set flushing mode.
