Microfluidics devices include a mulitplexed hydraulic valve activation de vice The actuator of a microfluidcs device houses a control channel to cause a non-volatile and low-material permeability liquid and an actuator The act uator is in communication with a control channel The control channel communi cates with a fluid channel, such that fluid moves through the control channe l and compresses the fluid channel The action of compressing the fluidic cha nnel may move fluid through the fluid channel The device may also include a piston in communication with a control channel and an actuator The device ca n be coupled to a computer system, control software, imaging devices, an inc ubator, or a cell handling system.
