<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device capable of changing the control of a motor according to the driving state of the motor. <P>SOLUTION: In the seat belt device 10, when a seat belt 16 is detached from an occupant, a motor 22 is driven by an ECU 24 and the seat belt 16 is stored. When the storage of the seat belt 16 is restricted during the storage of the seat belt 16, the ECU 24 stores the limit take-up position of the seat belt 16. When the limit take-up position of the seat belt 16 is continuously detected at the same take-up position of the seat belt 16 a plurality of times when the seat belt 16 is stored, the ECU 24 drives the motor 22 at the corrective speed lower than the normal speed at the limit take-up position of the seat belt when the seat belt 16 is stored at the next and subsequent times.
