PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which a stripe pattern can be provided with a more excellent stereoscopic feel sensitive to a viewer as compared to an inner cylinder containing an illuminator within a rotary cylinder like heretofore, by making the viewer sufficiently recognize the stripe patterns of a near side and deep side with respect to the viewer, by employing such configuration of not disposing the illuminator within the inner cylinder composed of a light transmissive member attached with the patterns on the surface. SOLUTION: The inner cylinder 24 attached with the patterns 24a to 24d on the surface is installed within the outer cylinder 22. The inner cylinder 24 is made freely rotatable with respect to a base 20. Further, the illuminator 26 is installed between the inner cylinder 24 and the outer cylinder 22.
