Process for production of a profiled part involving production of a profiled strand (sic) by extrusion via an extrusion press and a extrusion device, dipping the profiled strand obtained in a vertical cooling device under the extrusion device, separation of the profiled part from the profiled strand and cooling the profiled part by a coolant. An independent claim is included for a device for production of the profiled strand and for the cooling device (claimed).
