<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To devise a formation of a terminal member in order to shorten a distance between a fluorescent tube mounted on a connector for the fluorescent tube and a reflecting plate located on the backside of the fluorescent tube, and to devise formations of a housing and an actuator in accordance with the formation of the terminal member. <P>SOLUTION: Based on the premise of the connector constitution that the connector for the fluorescent tube comprises a pair of facing contacts, the terminal member, a seat 40, the housing 4, and the actuator 5; the connector constitution further satisfies following requirements (α) to (γ). (α) The pair of facing contacts of the terminal member extend in an axial direction of the fluorescent tube. (β) The actuator is supported on the housing movably to an upper position or a lower position.
