The flywheel has a torsion damper (22) arranged between flywheel masses (10, 18). The damper has springs that are attached to one of the masses in a retainer, and supports a circular flange (28) at its ends. Hysteresis sliding shoes (46) are radially arranged between the springs and the flange. The shoes have an angular deflection limiting unit, which limits their angular deflection with respect to the flange. The shoes have radial external peripheral surfaces that contact with the springs, and radial internal circular surfaces that support the springs at walls of the retainer.
