PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network facsimile machine capable of relieving a job load associated with registration of redirect destination to a SIP server and cancellation of the registration. SOLUTION: Particular information (IP address or the like) of one ore more substitute machines is stored in a network information storage section 17 of the network facsimile machine 10, and another substitute machine among the substitute machines is registered to the SIP server 30 as the redirect destination. The registration is automatically executed on the opportunity of a cause such as power off, shift to an administrator mode, the occurrence of disable reception such as paper shortage, and arrival of a registration designation time. Further, the network facsimile machine 10 automatically transmits information of invalidating the registration of the redirect destination to the SIP server 30 on the basis of a cause such as power on, restoration from the administration mode, recovery from errors, and arrival of a release designation time.
