摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microchip and a filling method of a reagent in the microchip capable of filling quickly and accurately the required trace amount of reagent to each of a plurality of reagent storage parts simultaneously, and moreover, preventing the reagent from leaking out from the reagent storage part into a fine channel communicating therewith, when filling the reagent. SOLUTION: The microchip, having the reagent storage parts for storing an aqueous reagent equipped respectively with a reagent supply part, a liquid sending control part or the like, has characteristics wherein the pressure of the reagent passing through the reagent supply part is higher than the liquid holding pressure, which is the pressure with which the reagent starts to pass the liquid sending control part. The filling method of the reagent has characteristics where the pressure necessary for starting, to pass the reagent supply part is applied to the reagent by a micropump provided in a micropump unit, and after start of inflow of the reagent, a pressure lower than the liquid-holding pressure of the liquid-sending control part is applied to the reagent.
