<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bactericidal liquid appropriate to deactivate Norovirus, by clarifying deactivating effect of GSE against Norovirus. <P>SOLUTION: The bactericidal liquid is manufactured by dissolving a grapefluit seed extract (abbreviated to GSE hereinafter) in water, adding phytic acid to it, then adding an alcohol for brewing to it, and has a deactivating effect against calicivirus. The bactericidal liquid contains 0.08 W/W% of the GSE, 0.05 W/W% of phytic acid, 58.8 W/W% of an alcohol for brewing and a balanced amount of water, and its pH is adjusted to be 5.8-6.4. This method of manufacturing the bactericidal liquid is a method of manufacturing a bactericidal liquid having a deactivating effect against calcivirus, and comprises dissolving the GSE in water, adding phytic acid to emulsify it and adding a 95 degree alcohol for brewing to the resultant emulsion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
