<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a fuel cell stack stably operate by aiming at cost reduction and restraining temperature fall of unit cells at the end. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell stack 50 is provided with a laminate 51 having laminated a plurality of cells each with a solid polymer film fitted between an anode and a cathode, a pair of collectors 53a, 53b in contact with a cell at each end of the laminate 51, a pair of end plates 110a, 110b with clamping forth applied for clamping the laminate 51, and an insulator 55c arranged between at least one of the pair of collectors 53a, 53b and the end plate 110a for insulating between the collector 53a and the end plate 110a. A space 160 is formed between the end plate 110a and the collector 53a. With this, heat is hardly transmitted from the collector 53a to the end plate 110a, and is restrained from being released outside through the end plate 110a or the insulator 55a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
