PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-mounted information apparatus for providing users with various types of information and providing detailed information on the information, according to the demands of the users. SOLUTION: Various types of driving information is outputted, according to the driving conditions (step S20) to set standby words according to the driving information (step S30). Based on the speech uttered by a user is then detected (step S50), to determine whether the user has uttered a set standby word, on the basis of detected speech (steps S60 and S70). When it is determined that the user has uttered the standby words, the detailed information related to the driving information outputted in the step S20 is outputted (step S80).
