PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ammonia gas sensor capable of securing strong close tightneess of electrode with respect to an electric insulator, by contriving a constitution for providing the electrode on the electrical insulator. SOLUTION: This ammonia gas sensor has a glass layer 20 provided in the right-hand surface portion of an electrical insulating substrate 10. Both interdigital electrodes 30, 40 are provided to a surface of the glass layer 20. A sensitive layer 50 is laminated on the surface of the glass layer 20 so as to cover the both electrodes 30, 40.
