A printing apparatus, a recording medium recording a computer program, a printing system, and a method for determining an ink discharge method are provided to restrain the density stain generated in an image formed by an overlapping section of a nozzle. A printing apparatus includes a conveyor section(20), a nozzle unit, and a controller(60). The conveyor section conveys a medium in the conveying direction. The nozzle unit has a plurality of rows of nozzles arranged in a cross direction in which the nozzles for discharging ink cross the conveying direction. The controller is adapted to determine an ink discharge method from the nozzles in an overlapping region on the basis of the density of the image formed by the ink discharged to the medium.
