<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition for obtaining an optical disk substrate providing good yield at molding, and having high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The aromatic polycarbonate resin composition for the optical disk substrate, free from a modified product of a fatty acid monoglyceride is obtained by extruding an aromatic polycarbonate resin having 10,000-20,000 viscosity average molecular weight (Mv) while adding 0.015-0.05 pt.mass of the 14-30C fatty acid monoglyceride to 100 pts.mass of the aromatic polycarbonate resin, and further adding water having ≤1 μS/cm of electric conductivity measured at 25°C so that the content of the water in the resin composition may be 0.1-0.3 mass%, and cooling and cutting the extruded product to afford pellets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
