METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ACQUIRING RR SPACING INDEX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for acquiring a new RR spacing index.

SOLUTION: A NAM microphone 10 is mounted on the body surface at a prescribed site of a human body and a vibration waveform (original signal) caused by a non-audible-murmur (NAM) is picked up with a capacitor microphone incorporated into the NAM microphone. A template signal is produced from a base signal obtained by a low-pass filter processing of the original sinal (S3). The mutual correlation function between the template signal and the base signal is calculated to obtain an output signal (S5). The spacing time between peaks of the output signal wave form is counted as RR interval (alternative index) (S7). Thus, the RR interval or its alternative index can be acquired simply by mounting the NAM microphone at a prescribed site of a subject.
