PURPOSE:To prevent excessive destaticization and destaticization shortage by bringing plural lines of LEDs placed along the moving direction of a photosensitive body to turn-on control successively from that which reaches a destaticization area on the surface of the photosensitive body and to turn-off control successively from that which passes through the destaticization area. CONSTITUTION:When a copy processing is started, a photosensitive body 1 rotates in the direction as indicated with an arrow, each device such as an electrifying device 4, etc. starts an operation, and also, scanners 91, 92 start to move in the direction as indicated with an arrow. As a result, the scanner (mirror unit 92) intersects a home position HPS at some time point. A slave CPU 31 and a counter and a timer in the inside, starts the counter at the time when the scanner intersects the HPS and counts a pulse from a rotary encoder RE of a mirror motor 33. Also, when the counter counts the number of pulses corresponding to a distance between a document tip position SP and the HPS, the slave CPU decides that the scanner reaches the position SP, and executes an exposure at the time point. In such a way, from an LED which reaches a destaticization area on the surface of the photosensitive body, a turn-on control is executed successively, and from that which passes through the destaticization area, turn-off is executed successively. |
