PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage vessel suitable for improving heat exchanging efficiency and reliability of durable service life of the hydrogen storage vessel as a high pressure vessel, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The hydrogen storage vessel is constituted of a heat conducting means 3 comprising a shaft main body 10 and a heat exchange means 11 thermally connected to the shaft main body 10, developed inside the vessel, for performing heat exchange with gas in the vessel, inserted in a folded state into a vessel main body 2 from a mouthpiece portion 2A along with the shaft main body 10 along the shaft main body 10, the shaft main body 10 being thermally connected inside the vessel main body 2 to a mouthpiece portion 2B, and the heat exchange means 11 being erected from the shaft main body 10 from a folded state along the shaft main body 10.
