PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension adjusting device of an auxiliary machine driving belt, capable of easily push-contracting a hydraulic automatic tensioner in an installation state, without being incorrectly extended in its contraction work. SOLUTION: In a rockable pulley arm 6 rotatably supporting a tension pulley 8, a fulcrum shaft is arranged in an eccentric position to the rocking center of the pulley arm 6 by the hydraulic automatic tensioner 10 energizing in the extending direction by a return spring 18, and a wrench engaging boss having the outer periphery of a square shape is arranged with its fulcrum shaft as the center. A one-way clutch is incorporated between the fulcrum shaft and the boss, and the pulley arm 6 is rocked in rocking operation in one direction of a wrench T engaged with the boss, and the hydraulic automatic tensioner 10 is contracted. When the wrench T rocks in the other direction, the one-way clutch is put in a disengaged state, to prevent the hydraulic automatic tensioner 10 from being drawn out. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
