PAPER COCKLE RESTRICTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper cockle restricting device of simple structure capable of surely and efficiently restricting cockle. SOLUTION: Cockle of a paper 14 to be inserted as an intermediate paper between thin steel plates 12 is restricted by adjusting coil of the thin steel plates. A guide roll 17 having a polygonal cross section is arranged to nearly cross the feeding direction on the way of the paper 14 feeding passage. The paper is stretched on the guide roll 17, and the guide roll 17 is rotated to feed the paper 14, and a periodical oscillation at a predetermined amplitude is given to the paper.
