PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-crystalline polyester capable of providing a liquid crystalline polyester film having excellent flexibility, excellent dimensional stability, and being reduced in curling when preparing copper-clad laminates or flexible print wiring boards, a solution composition containing the liquid-crystalline polyester, a liquid-crystalline polyester film using the solution composition, a method of manufacturing the liquid-crystalline polyester film and a copper-clad laminate using the liquid-crystalline polyester film. SOLUTION: The liquid-crystalline polyester resin composition is characterized by containing a liquid-crystalline polyester resin having a specific structure, and an aprotic solvent. A liquid-crystalline polyester film using the resin composition, a method of manufacturing the film, a copper-clad laminate comprising the film having high flexibility with little curling, and a flexible print wiring board comprising the film are also provided.
