PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflecting plate for lighting apparatus which can eliminate leaking of light by preventing transmission of light completely and can achieve reduction of weight of the case constituting its outer frame, and which improves safety of installation work when the lighting apparatus is applied for a lighting apparatus for advertisement. SOLUTION: The reflecting plate 50 is constructed of a reflecting body 65 of white synthetic resin installed on a lamp side 10 and a rear plate 66 of black synthetic resin arranged on the rear side of this reflecting body 65. Since the light transmitted through the reflecting body 65 is totally reflected by the black rear plate 66 at the rear side of the reflecting body 65, even if the reflecting plate 50 is constituted of synthetic resin, leaking of light by the reflecting plate 50 can be prevented completely.
