PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor considering information leakage or the like, allowing facilitation of maintenance of the information processor. SOLUTION: A management part 104 of this communication controller 101 has a processing part 141, a nonvolatile memory 142, and a connection part 143. The nonvolatile memory 142 stores management information or a communication control program. The connection part 143 is a connecting slot or the like connecting an external storage medium (e.g. the external storage medium such as an SD card). The connecting slot 143 is connected with the external storage medium 201. The communication controller 101 performs authentication when connected with the external storage medium 201, spontaneously transfers an updating program to the nonvolatile memory 142 of the communication controller 101 between the communication controller 101 and the external storage medium in the case of authentication permission, performs update, encrypts device information, and executes transfer to a free space 224 of the external storage medium 201.
