PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored belt for power transmission with favorable production efficiency, suppressing noise generation during use. SOLUTION: Awning cloth arranged on the back face of the belt is a piece of a cylindrical awning cloth 1 comprised by coating or dipping rubber cement produced by melting rubber mixed with pigment in a solvent on an awning cloth surface, coloring the awning cloth, and mutually abutting and stitching both ends together.
