PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device for a cleaning implement neatly storing a disassembled cleaning part and extension shafts in an easy-to-handle state. SOLUTION: A storage case 4 is provided with a first insertion part 5 in which disassembled extension shafts 3A-3B out of the connection type cleaning implement A formed by detachably connecting the cleaning part 1 having a connecting shaft 2 to the extension shafts 3A-3D, are vertically and detachably inserted and retained, a second insertion part 6 in which the connecting shaft 2 of the cleaning part 1 is vertically and detachably inserted and retained with a cleaning operation portion 1a facing the extension shafts 3A-3D inserted in and retained to the first insertion part, and a detent means 7 abutting on a part of the cleaning part 1 when the cleaning operation portion 1a of the cleaning part 1 inserted in and retained to the second insertion part is in the facing attitude.
