<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system and a method to predict a temperature corresponding to the temperature sensor in failure after starting of a fuel cell stack by the other temperature sensor operating normally, when one of a hydrogen gas temperature sensor 5 or an air temperature sensor 6 to measure the temperature of hydrogen gas or air exhausted from the fuel cell stack 1 is in failure. <P>SOLUTION: The temperature corresponding to the temperature sensor in the failure after starting of the fuel cell stack 1 is predicted by adding an offset amount obtained beforehand by temperature changes of the hydrogen gas and air exhausted from the fuel cell stack 1 after starting of the fuel cell stack 1 to the temperature obtained by the normally operating temperature sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
