<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply control unit and power supply control method, which avoids unexpected power-on/-off conditions that may occur on the way of turning the power on/off sequence, relating to power supply control unit for turning the power on/off of an information processing system and to power supply control method. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply control unit for causing one or more connecting devices to turn the power on and off through power-on/-off setting, has: a power-on process timer circuit 3a for start timer counting by power-on setting, after a time in excess of power-on process time has been set, since power-on setting until all the connecting devices have completed power-on starting processing; a power-off process timer circuit 3b for starting timer counting by a power-off setting, after a time in excess of power-off process time has been set since power-off setting, until all the connecting devices have completed power-off starting processing; a power-off input disablement circuit 4b for disabling power-off setting during timer counting in the power-on process timer circuit 3a; and a power-on input disablement circuit 4a for disabling power-on setting during timer counting in the power-off process timer circuit 3b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
