<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow judgement capable of coping sufficiently with a noise, a disturbance and an ill-natured motion. <P>SOLUTION: In this ticket gate device, a position of a user is detected by bringing two or more of adjacent optical sensors into a dark condition, out of the plurality of optical sensors 21-46 arranged with a prescribed interval along the moving direction of a user, as to the user moving within a passage, the position of the user is controlled based on detection information therein. The ticket gate device is provided with height detecting sensors 51-53 provided in a position higher than the optical sensors 21-46 to detect a height of the user, and a CPU 71 for determining whether the user is an adult or not, based on a detection result by the height detecting sensors 51-53, and the CPU 71 judges that a detected object by the height detecting sensors 51-53 is not the user, based on the fact that only one out of the plurality of optical sensors 21-46 is brought into the dark condition, after the user is judged as an adult based on the detection result in the height detecting sensors 51-53. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
