PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker which prevents fear for a deformation or a trouble resulting from a temperature rise in a lid body 57 due to the lack of water being stored in a steam generating section 60a in the middle of rice cooking from occurring. SOLUTION: An emptiness sensing means 64 is provided on the steam generating section 60a, and when no water is sensed, the heating motion of a lid heating means 63 is stopped. Thus, the excessive temperature rise in the lid body 57 is suppressed, and the deformation or the failure is prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
