<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute a content while securing power needed in receiving the content at a communication terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The content distribution server 20 includes: a start notification receiving part 212 for receiving a start notification which is transmitted by a portable telephone set 10 and indicates that power charge starts in the portable telephone set 10 via a network 30; a distribution determination part 213 for determining on the basis of the start notification received by the start notification receiving part 212 whether or not content distribution to the portable telephone set 10 is needed; and a distribution part 214 for distributing the content to the portable telephone 10 via the network 30 on the basis of the determination made by the distribution determination part 213. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
