If these motors become overloaded, current of overloaded motors is blocked. Subsequently, a camera 5 takes pictures of the ambient conditions, the robot is stopped, an operator in charge is informed of the situations. The images taken by the camera are stored in the robot or are transferred to a server through a radio LAN and are stored there. The conditions that the robot becomes overloaded can be confirmed by these image, whether or not a trouble is caused by mischief by a person, a collision with an obstacle or a mechanical fault can be analyzed. In addition, a warning voice can be also issued to a person going into mischief by allowing the camera to be oriented to the direction to which an excessive load is applied.
