A display device is provided to diffuse and intensify light generated in light source units with a simple configuration, thereby uniformly transmitting the light to the rear side of a display panel. A display device(100) comprises the followings: a display panel which displays an image; pipe-type light source units(76) which supply light to the display panel; a diffusion member(80) which is arranged between the display panel and the light source units and includes an arch-shaped structure surrounding the light source units; and a container member(75,71) which holds the light source units and the diffusion member. The diffusion member includes a plurality of curved portions which surround the light source units and have an arch shape, and a coupling portion formed at the contact positions between the curved portions and fixed to the container member.
