The drinking vessel holder (8) has a shaped part section (4) with a thin ring form closed and formed larger than a semi-circle with an inner diameter smaller than an outer diameter of an edge of a drinking opening (2). Another shaped part section (5) is designed as a spring unit, and is dimensioned and arranged at a distance from the former section in such a manner that the latter section snatches an outer surface (9) by an inner tension during introduction of a drinking vessel (1) in a postion covered by the former section over the edge of the opening.
